What developing in a Future's Food sector means

The last weeks have evolved for MaricaCo and all our new ventures. You may have recalled me saying that our business focus had to diversify and for a number of valid reasons. Mostly, we understood sectors that would always have an Impact. With that and through basic shareholder discussions, the direction to be taken was channelled into two consumer centric industries.

Based on the investment of resources like time and financial commitments, data pointed to a very specific space residing in the Future of Food. Many of you may recall me sharing that 10+ years ago, a 30page business plan on a progressive approach to food services and customed meals was written by me. Highly paid for research was the basis of the plan and some of this meant propriety led innovations. But never was the plan intended for actual product development and with more R&D requirements. 

Impact central to all reviewed possibilities and with core needs always being the immediate deliberations, it can be said the good work is cut out and underway. Perhaps what you need to know is that a big part of our new venture is to bring tasty plant-based protein alternatives, at a price you would consider and as conveniently as possible to atleast half the global population.

And with this, we want to stay authentic, real and connected equally with everyone, through good food, to make Earth greater than we found it.
