Melina the brilliant little girl Bee gets after school detention - by marica

(This is a short story series for kids. Suggested ages of between 2-7 years old ) Melina the brilliant little girl bee always struggled to focus in her one lesson. It was a lesson which taught kiddie bees how their choices can affect many other things in the bee village of Semyai. See in this lesson, Kiddie bees were taught just how their every day choices and basic things like the clothes they wear, the places parent bees work in or stores they own, where they spend bee-coins and even how their fish fillet got to their dinner plates all plays a very important role. Indeed it was in  her economics for beginner bees lesson that Melina bee really struggled to focus most. But it wasn't because she disliked this lesson. Not at all. It was infact the exact opposite! Melina bee struggle to focus because she thoroughly enjoyed what teacher Maple bee taught in her economics lesson! Teacher Maple bee would start a topic which immediately got Melina bee so curious that many other tho

Melina the brilliant little girl Bee attends the Honeycomb Festival with hopes of becoming a Bee-llionaire - by marica

(This is a short story series for kids. Suggested ages of between 2-7 years old ) Semyai, the bee village found somewhere in beautiful South Africa, was known for its annual Honeycomb Festival. This was one day in the year which every bee and family prepared for and looked forward to. The entire bee village with its community would ensure that no one missed this very special day which united everyone through love, laughter and conversations on how to be a better bee community for the next years to come. See everyone knew that it was important for all bees to unite and to talk about the things which needed fixing, as well as to celebrate the things that were loved by all in the bee village. Every bee understood, almost as part of the Semyai village's secret culture, that through talking to one another everyone better understood each other. But that was not all to this special day. No matter the bees age, everyone prepared months before for the Honeycomb Festival which also saw

Melina the brilliant little girl Bee and her day watching the rain - by marica

(This is a short story series for kids, Suggested ages of between 2-7 years old ) It was raining and Melina the girl bee sat looking out the window of her room. She sat there feeling sad for not being able to go outside and hoped the rain would stop soon so that she could go into the village to explore. Melina bee loved being outside daily and to ask many questions. She also liked to be outside and often alone simply to look at things and to think about many things. But Melina bee knew being inside while it rained would mean she also couldn't get to see some of the daily villagers who she loved spending time with and who loved to spend time with Melina bee too. Melina bee sat there thinking about Mrs. Sheila bee who would always welcome Melina bee into her wool and yarn shop explaining how many wool types were made. Melina bee loved touching and feeling the textures of things and she would enjoy squeezing the mohair wool the most. Melina bee  would giggle on her way out asking

Melina the brilliant little girl Bee - a short story series for kids by marica

(This is the first series of my short stories for kids. Suggested ages of between 2-7 years old) Melina the brilliant little girl Bee (part 1)  Melina was an interesting little bee. She was a girl bee of just 5 years old and whose smiley eyes and many questions were thought to be cute, interesting and also quite troublesome at times by both her parents and her many brother and sister bees. Yes. All of Melina bee's family members understood her to be different to them. She was the youngest bee child in her family but also the one to ask the most questions. Everyone in the home felt that maybe it was in the way Melina bee listened and looked at things which made her ask so many questions, all the time and about almost everything.  But they also knew that it was a good habit to have and so no one really stopped Melina bee from her asking of questions even when it became too much to handle for them all. See Melina bee would take a simple thing like eating a fruit at lunch tim

2020 & work options

Many teams are now approaching business and projects with specialised teams vs. general staff approaches. This has always been my opinion on how to best provide solutions to clients. It's got to be expertise being aligned based on the scope of work. I too have been part of such aggregated teams and sitting at a table of dedicated project expertise  is extremely stimulating. This is even with modern day professional preference in most sectors (except for medical and legal to name two fields) which leans towards a broad and generalised approach instead of a super specialised ..or dare I say a limited one. It seems that to know a little about a whole lot seems to be the new professional 'cool' that's here to stay. New business models are fast becoming fluid in keeping with lean human capital  structures and simply appointing with the onboarding of new business. Much of these decisions are also based on strained economic impact on business and declined commercial

Skill

Watching ice skaters, no ordinary one's, but rather Olympiads reminds me of the skill and practice that's required to perfect a discipline. I can't imagine what it feels like to slip on ice in front of many (all the cameras)..then to pick yourself up in every sense and to continue with precision and confidence. Or can I relate..in an entrepreneurial sense. I mean to be in business requires a series of falls and pick yourself up's. Much of what seems conducted with ease in ice staking is obviously practice meets desire to excel meets love of discipline...and so I'd imagine the hours in the ring, the considerations and co-ordination is painstakingly nerve wracking. Well done to those who live their hours to advance on skates. The only ice I'll  stick to is ice cream.
